IM:port Founded as a container port to accommodate the creation of songs that come from all circles regardless of musical genres , musical genre and the status of the artist involved in it . IM:port is intended for all groups of artist, both well known artist and have a name in community, a new comer artist, and independent music group that is currently in the process growing fast.

IM:port will serve as a forum to bring the interest of all artist who involved in the creation of musical piece , either composer, artist/singers, producers and other parties involved.

IM:port stands as a Digital Music Distribution of works created and songs sung by the artist. IM:port provides the means and the media as a place for songs storage ( Content hosting ) and distribute it widely to the community in the format of digital content that can be downloaded via mobile, internet and other digital models.

IM:port is legally a public company (PT : PERSEROAN TERBATAS/Limited Liability Company), which is managed professionally by people who known about music, media & entertainment industry.

IM:port operates with the concept of integrated content management system proven reliability. So that the system has been integrated with the system in the Indonesian Cellular Operators (Both GSM & CDMA Operators) with the national wide coverage. In the process of making technology system to support operational process IM:port everyday, which includes Content quality control & Production, Content delivery & management system, Content Reporting System, Revenue sharing Payment system, Song submission an administration system.

To support the promotion of artists work in www.importmusik.com hosted, IM:port is also working with sponsors to promote the work of these songs, whatever through TV media, radio, print media and other media campaign.

In operation, IM:port will also serve partners as a DRD ( Digital Repertoire Development ). DRD served as IM:port Agent to accommodate and process the songs that come in an be hosted to www.importmusik.com.

The DRD will be held by people who have credibility in the music industry in several cities across the land in Indonesia. IM:port will seek to promote and provide review of the work of artists who entered www.importmusik.com, as an effort to improve quality and productivity of artist who joined in the IM:port.

IM:port did not close the possibility for artist to reproduce the work of the song in the form of cassette and CD’s to other interested parties. IM:port is not involved in the process of recording artist and the overall right remain the property of Musician / composer.
